In 2006-2007, through their affiliate Troy Living, they completed a total historic restoration of the former Stanleys Department store at the corner of State and Third in downtown Troy. Renamed The Conservatory, this elegant building, erected in 1903, now houses 19 of the Capital District’s most luxurious and beautiful apartments, a basement parking garage and approximately 8,700 square feet of grand retail space in which they opened Pfeil Hardware & Paint in 2009. In 2016 they sold the The Conservatory and the store, which is now Ace Hardware of Troy.
